This person will be responsible for the culture of different types of cells from human and animal tissues. He/ She is expected to master cell culture methods, define customer specifications and process customer orders, along with providing Technical Support to customers over the phone and email. The individual will need to be capable of maintaining good relationships with suppliers, operational staff, sales/marketing/business development, customer service, and distributors.



Overview: Internship Starts ASAP. A period of 2-6 months and paid by the hour. 8-20 hours per week depending on the intern's schedule.

Job Description: The Research Intern, under direct supervision, will assist with the culture of different types of primary cells and small animal procedures, along with performing other general lab work and duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: The candidate should be a current college student, having completed at least some freshman level science courses, and who has: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail- Ability to multitask and maintain several projects at one time- Good verbal and written communication skills- Adaptability to different situations - Willingness to work weekends and late hours occasionally. Currently living in the Chicago area is a MUST. Applicant's living outside of the Chicago area will not be considered.



This person will be responsible for sales/marketing/business development, customer service, and distributor relations. This individual will also serve as the point of contact for product and customer issues and be responsible for resolving customer issues as quickly and comprehensively as possible. As a client-centered position, he/she must have strong customer, interpersonal and communications skills, as well as a good sense of organization. The Marketing Specialist must be diplomatic and professional, sensitive to the client's needs and able to prioritize the many responsibilities/ deadlines of the job. We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to work independently within approved company and department structure. Candidates need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other computer tools. Qualifications: B.A. or M.S. degree, preferably in marketing or biological science areas.
