Macrophage Medium is a complete medium designed for the culture of human and animal (Monkey, Porcine, Canine, Rabbit) macrophages. It was tested and optimized with human and animal macrophage growth in vitro. It is formulated for use with 5% CO₂ and 95% air in a humidified incubator. The medium contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals), supplemented with macrophage growth supplement, antibiotics, and fetal bovine serum.

Storage Condition

Store the basal medium at -20°C until use. The complete cell culture medium can be kept in 4°C for 6 weeks. Protect from light.

To assure sterility, the prepared medium should be filtered with a 0.2 um filter after 2 weeks or if there is concern that sterility was compromised during the supplementation process.
